I run a niche pub and was asked to become a nominator. For two months, it was so nice to see my pub (Nursing Notes) - with few followers but with an important voice - to gain traction. Then, it all came crashing down...

I have a sneaking suspicion that Medium has a very hard time balancing rewarding real versus AI writers. Whatever they try to do to reward the 'truebies' results in falsies, phonies, fakers and money suckers flooding the platform.

AI checkers picking up AI content are only as good as the AI checker...and we all know the fraudsters are always one jump ahead of the hard-worker legit folks...
