Where’s David Perlmutter?

Did anyone else notice he’s AWOL?

I’m a nurse with observational radar. When I was working in the community, I knew when something was up if my patients didn’t show up for an appointment or fail to answer the door.

I was never wrong.

David Perlmutter always responds to my stories tout-de-suit. But lately, he hasn’t. It’s been three days…

I’d tag him in this story, but the profile that comes up is one I’m not familiar with. Anything linked to him has disappeared.

I got a fleeting message when I tapped into one of his stories that his account was flagged 401: which means it is in violation of Medium’s standards.

Huh?

I’m concerned about my friend. Our friend. David has been a stalwart on hundreds of regular writers' accounts since I’ve been writing on Medium.

I’m guessing some newbie has taken offence to his highlighting or a frank comment that comes from his heart with no filters. David is a self-declared Aspergers guy; His thoughts are on a different level.

I love that about him. That’s what those who know David love about him.

I have a degree of understanding toward his challenges in this global community and am eternally grateful he enjoys reading my stories and taking the time to comment.

David has earned a place in the hearts of thousands of Mediumites over the three years I’ve been participatory on this platform. I am hoping this is a massive oversight on the part of a reader — and Medium.
