We’re all guilty of it, but I find if I am organized and pre-plan meals and shop accordingly it saves a lot of money. I just need to be more vigilant!

As for the nursing license — yeah, it gets more expensive every year too; this year it was close to $500. Most professionals who belong to an Order have such a fee.
