I'm so glad you had the courage to write this. As much as I loathe to diss your hubby, given he is the father of your children and was the love of your life, it's heartbreaking to see the change in his demeanor and you have enormous strength to be so level-headed in a time of such angst and fury. The fact he told you on a phone call is just horrid and then the change in behaviour and associated lies....ugh.

You are amazing and never forget it. Your kids will remember how you behaved and dealt with this as much as they'll remember what he's done. Having been there, done that, they know who's done what even if it hasn't been spelled out. They see and hear.

It's likely your ex is being duped. I've heard of similar stories from both men and women. I can't understand why anyone could fall for this scam. I just hope his stupid decisions don't render your finances ruined.
