The 3rd Annual MEdium Awards
A best-of summary of my writing in 2024
It’s that time of year when I sit down and try to make sense of my writing accomplishments and flops. For the past two years, I’ve usually completed this exercise when my Medium anniversary happens in April. I decided to move the event to December to wrap things up like a year-end review instead.
Since January 1, I’ve written 367 stories for 15 different publications. The bulk of my writing is 150 words for The Daily Cuppa, so don’t think I’m some sort of superwoman spitting out a long-form every day of the year!
I have 2630 followers — 744 more than at the same time last year — and 33 more email subscribers for a grand total of 87. Those numbers can fluctuate drastically, much like Montréal’s weather in winter, thanks to the invasion of the bots and Medium playing whack-a-mole.
