I'd rather not meet someone head on with a gun and have zero issue for not even holding one. I am sure I aren't the only person in this world who hasn't, or who is genuinely afraid of them. Does that make me pathetic? You infer this.

I'm sure there are more sensible gun owners than not, but like anything, it's the bad guys that spoil it for everyone else.
