So agree. I submitted a piece to a bigwig publication and waited 8 days for them to tell me my article did not conform with their formatting criteria. They kindly included the ones to reference but what disturbed me more is that they hadn't even bothered to read it and declared after the formatting issues were resolved they THEN would look at the content. Um no. I moved on and had it published within 3 hours.

Another sent me feedback that clearly indicated my article hadn't even been read. When I challenged her on her comment, she deleted her note. No apology.
