My Friend Was Delivered Rotting, Mouldy Flowers — Three Times

Before Christmas, I published a story about the saga of sending my girlfriend a bunch of congratulatory flowers. What arrived five days after the requested delivery date was a sad, droopy bouquet.

As the story went to ‘print’ I’d received a notification that the replacement bunch was confirmed. It took me three weeks of arguing to get that result, but given the company had finally ‘come around’, to a satisfactory resolution, I decided not to name them.

Now, you’d think that a replacement bunch of flowers to appease an angry customer would be the freshest and most gorgeous arrangement ever. What my friend received was a mouldy, rotting bouquet. It was even worse than the first bunch!

It was so bad, we had to laugh. What company in their right mind would put their name to such garbage?
