There are a bunch of challenges circulating Medium right now, and I'm grateful for their existence to prod my weary writing fingers to connect with my cobwebbing computer keys.

This particular one first came to my attention via Nancy Blackman, MASF, then Karen Schwartz. It originated from a writer I've never met, Pamela Oglesby, so thank you to all three of you!

Let's jump right in here with some goofy, trifle scoop…

1 After using something around the house, do you put it back immediately after use or leave it lying around?

Everything has a place in my humble abode; if removed, it had better go back to its rightful place, tout-de-suite! I've always worked on this notion as I despise clutter and mess, and more so when living in a 'box.'

Having said that, if I plan or need to do something with an item, it stays in my line of vision until it's done. Otherwise, if it's out of sight, it's definitely out of my mind.

For example, I've had some clear craft light bulbs sitting on my table for two weeks, waiting for me to decorate them for next Christmas. If I put them away, I’ll only remember I bought them a week before 2023/12/25 and then it’s too late to do anything…
