Last year I noticed the prices were expensive so I’m sure it will be worse this year. We’re not at that point yet weather-wise.

What I did was wait until the sales came on. Instead of buying lots of potted plants to fill my six large planters, I bought 6 hanging baskets but removed them from the pots. They flourished beautifully for less effort and cost. The waiting was the only painful part!
