I've no doubt these men were well aware of the risks. They weren't just loaded.

Wear and tear is a natural phenomenon we see in the human body, cars, houses, etc. I am assuming the engineers who built the Titan were well versed that the more times it went down to crazy depths, the more potential there was for structural damage.

I do feel for the families, given it's been worldwide news for days, but I wish other tragedies received as much attention to rescue human lives.
