I'm reading this 5 months after you wrote, but oh dear are you ever right! I'm so glad I got my new car just as the pandemic hit and am not buying or renovating a house. I've heard nightmare stories from friends waiting 2 years to finish reno's that started pre-pandemic, and then having to pay through the nose for materials.

So far the only thing has affected me is getting my kitty litter LOL!! Oh and the gas price and grocery bill is horrendous....
