I was asked to be a nommer - and the first two months were 'lucrative'...then the wheels fell off. I started getting suspect about how much money they had in the coffers because I went from having all of the great submissions to Nursing Notes accepted to having only one or two. It has been very frustrating because when writers persistently get turned down they look for alternative publications so it has hurt my numbers. If anything that was a bigger slap in the face because I didn't even ask to be a nommer! (And why on earth have they not accepted you?). I've got way more to say on this matter but have kept my mouth shut but may just have to let it ALL out in another story!!
