I use Grammarly despite being reasonably adept with the quirks of the English language. It frustrates me more than it helps me, but it does have some useful advice - sometimes.

In the end, I just write because I want to. If it earns me some bucks - it's a bonus. I have at least 3 stories in my drafts that are just me blithering on. I feel I have a point; if others don't see it, so be it. It was therapeutic writing them.

Having said that, I did just start a pub because there was nowhere for me to publish my nursing stories to an audience that would appreciate them. I didn't do it for the fame or fortune; more so they were somewhere to be read by those who were interested.
