I understand your guilt but you didn't kill your mum. It's a horrible feeling to think you've betrayed her by putting her somewhere where she didn't want to be though, but your hands were tied. In reality, she was most unwell and there wasn't much of a future for her. If anything, it's sad that she couldn't just stay at the hospital.
