I think the opposite - and wish I had taken pictures of random, everyday stuff way back when.
Photography is a still of the present. But, times change all too quickly. The present is soon the past and those moments are history.
I have pics of Notre Dame. Paris, before it was incinerated. Christchurch, New Zealand, before a devastating earthquake.
I cannot tell you how many times I have been writing stories from my past and wished I had the sense to have photographed the 'norm'; the things that were so commonplace back then but yet are now lost as no one took pics.
Never entered my head then. Does now!
