I often see the Joe dilemma in nursing; some students are not cut out for the job; they can't problem solve, collaborate or are unsafe. BUT they can still care for people as a patient attendant. Unfortunately we can't burst their bubble; they have to go through the training, repeatedly fail, get a job and get fired before realising it. It's sad when they don't have the personal insight before wasting their time.
