I have for the most part the utmost respect for editors. The only time I questioned one was when the feedback I received clearly indicated my article hadn’t been read. Interestingly, when I pointed it out, the private note got deleted.
The bottom line is we ALL have a responsibility here if we want to benefit from the platform. Editors give constructive criticism; writers take note and adjust; readers clap and comment veraciously. It’s a win-win when we work together.
