Great article Maria. People use vices to escape reality and unfortunately sometimes it causes more problems. There are many factors at play as to why people are homeless but with soaring prices and jobs that don’t keep up with the cost of living it’s inevitable this problem is only about to get worse. Meanwhile those who live in their posh houses and fancy lifestyles who have never experienced hunger or poverty hold the purse strings and dictate the rules. I’m pretty fed up with this disproportionate power that is a global phenomenon.
