Completely agree; I gave up a life of luxury when I left my husband.

It’s not the end of the world to lose all or most of our material possessions.It is a new start, however, and living in the times that we do, we can use it to great advantage. It allows us to rethink what we value, to prepare for climate change, and, yes, to establish new lines of income.
