COMPLETELY agree!!

…u are there, and serve the kids by giving a shit about them. Be a professional, that sort of thing. But I’ve never had any desire to climb the ladder into an administrative position. I can count one hand the number of people I’ve worked under over the years who I’ve seen do it well. For the rest, it really never seemed like much fun for any of them.

COMPLETELY agree!! I couldn't think of anything worse. I like sending the fires my students created to be put out by the expert, not me.
