A musical challenge
This was one of the hardest challenges I’ve faced. How to pick ten tunes in ten particular categories? I love my music; I’d much rather put on my iTunes than turn on my tele.
Rodrigo S-C didn’t personally urge me to write — he’s (thankfully) not a tag-bomber— but I couldn’t help myself! After reading his story, inspired by Josh Rose, I felt a calling.
Music has been part of my life since I was a wee dot in this gigantic world. My parents were classically born and bred, and I was the rebel. I’ve no qualms about blaming my big brother for that!
Six years my senior, I was attracted to his taste in music more than what met my ears on a daily basis. Although I now appreciate operas and orchestras, my big bro introduced me to classic rock and alternative music.
